Terms of Service

Effective October 17, 2026

These terms apply to the apps, services and website of Callisto Bound LLC (“Callisto Bound”, “we”), including Ursa Notes. By using them, you agree to these terms.

Your content

Your notes and files are yours. We claim no ownership of them, and because they stay on your device or in storage services you choose, you are responsible for them and for keeping backups.

Using our apps

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our apps on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the terms of the store you got them from (such as the App Store). Don’t use our apps to break the law or to harm others, and don’t try to interfere with our services.

Other services

Some features connect to services run by others, such as Dropbox. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we aren’t responsible for them.

No warranty

Our apps and services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Callisto Bound won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of our apps and services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app or service in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we’ll update this page and its effective date; continuing to use our apps and services after that means you accept the new terms.
